• Freddy's Nightmare, dropped by the Freddy Krueger boss
• Three cursed cartridge Overrides: invisibility while sprinting, a damage boost at low health, and squad concealment as Halloween props

Epic also confirmed an updated Nitemare Island landing in Reload on October 8. If Reload is your warm-up mode, expect that day to shuffle your short range engagements again.

Why does a loot rotation break your anti-recoil feel?

Anti-recoil on a Zen is per weapon by design. You pick a vertical value that cancels a specific gun's upward kick over a specific burst length, and a horizontal value for its sideways drift.

Swap the gun and those numbers are now wrong in both directions. An SMG with a tight, fast climb needs a very different vertical pull than an AR that walks up slowly over twenty rounds.

That is why a new SMG like the Bonerattler is the first thing to retune. It is the gun you will be holding in most close fights for the next few weeks, and whatever value you had loaded was tuned for a weapon that is no longer the default pick.

How do you retune Luna Elite for the Fortnitemares pool?

Luna Elite exposes its anti-recoil values through an on-screen menu you drive from the controller, so you do not need a PC open to adjust them. Work one gun at a time in Creative or a Reload warm-up, never mid-ranked.

1. Pick up the weapon you want to tune and nothing else. Mixed loadout testing is how people end up with values that feel wrong everywhere.
2. Stand roughly ten meters from a flat wall and hold full auto until the mag empties. Watch where the shot pattern finishes relative to where you started.
3. If the pattern still climbs, raise the vertical value in small steps. If it dips below your aim point, you have overshot and need to come back down.
4. Only once vertical is flat, correct any left or right drift with the horizontal value.
5. Repeat for your second weapon, then stop. Two or three tuned guns beats eight half-tuned ones.

How do you confirm the script is actually running?

Before you blame your values, prove the Zen is sending what you think it is sending. Zen Studio ships a Device Monitor for exactly this, and it is the fastest way to separate a tuning problem from a setup problem.

Per Cronus's documentation, the Device Monitor only opens when the Zen is plugged into your computer through the PROG USB socket using the mini-USB cable. The console or PC side cable will not give you access to it, which trips up a lot of people on their first attempt.

Once it is open, the input area reports your controller's buttons, sticks and sensors live, so you can see whether the Zen is reading the pad at all. The panel also surfaces I/O data, CPU load and VM speed, plus six TRACE fields a script can write feedback into. Compiling with Build and Run from the Compiler opens the monitor automatically.
